Two weeks ago, the Croatian National Tourist Board held the Dani hrvatskog turizma 2025 congress, and we had the privilege of developing a fully customized AI Event Assistant on WhatsApp named Peri specifically for this occasion.

The results were exceptional:
– 100 percent of all participants were successfully integrated into the AI assistant
– 100 percent of attendees received broadcasting messages from the organizers
– Over two and a half days the organizers sent 20 broadcast messages to all participants via WhatsApp
– A total of 4,275 messages were exchanged between participants and Peri
Participants most frequently asked about the program, the schedule and the excursions, and Peri responded instantly and at scale.

One of this year’s most significant innovations was enabling participants to retrieve their personalized QR code for their congress ticket through a simple text message or a speech to text request. This removed the need to search through emails or event applications. We made this possible through a complete integration with the Netgen ticketing API, the system used for participant registration.

Both the organizers and the attendees experienced a new, seamless and highly personal way of communicating with the event through WhatsApp.
